Smart Working up to 120 days and a week of 4 working days of 9 hours: Intesa Sanpaolo revolutionizes the work model

Intesa Sanpaolo, to meet the new needs and requirements of people, has started a new work organization model for Group employees working in Italy.

The objective is to reconcile the professional and working life balance of its people and demonstrates attention to their well-being, through innovative solutions to working methods with the aim of making the bank even more agile and dynamic, at the service of a more demanding clientele.

Flexible work, up to 120 days a year of Smart Working

Among the main innovations, aevolution of smart working with the possibility of increasing the flexible working from home up to 120 days a year, with a'meal voucher allowance of 3 euros per day, to also take into account the expenses incurred by working from home, and of work 4 days a week increasing the number of hours a day to 9 on a voluntary basis, for equal pay, without the obligation of a fixed day. All compatibly with the Bank's technical, organizational and production requirements.

The news will be introduced from January 2023 when Intesa Sanpaolo employees will be able to access these methods individually.

A trial period is planned in around 200 branches.

Valuing employees

Through these interventions on work organization, Intesa confirms theimportance of the continuous development of its employees through their growth and satisfaction and improving their business experience.

Intesa has shown itself to be attentive to the needs and requirements of its workers. The confrontation with the trade union organizations is still not completely resolved.

Intesa Sanpaolo is the first private employer in Italy with 74 people (96 worldwide).
