Sioi establishes eight scholarships to fully cover the participation fee for the XNUMXst level University Master's Degree in Sustainable Development, Geopolitics of Resources and Arctic Studies and to support the related curricular internship. Here's how to apply.

As part of an agreement between the Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea (MATTM) and the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI), concerning a collaboration aimed at developing skills and competences of the green economy with particular attention to eco-sustainability and responsible use of the territory, eight scholarships are established to fully cover the participation fee for the XNUMXst level University Master's Degree in Sustainable Development, Geopolitics of Resources and Arctic Studies and to support the related performance of the curricular internship.

The competition is open to candidates who, upon the application deadline of this announcement, are in possession of a degree, even a three-year degree, in any discipline and a level of knowledge of the English language at least B1 (Quadro
common European reference for the knowledge of languages).

The selection procedure will take into account the following evaluation parameters:
• degree mark;
• Postgraduate qualifications (doctorate, specialist degree, master, specialization courses, publications);
• Linguistic knowledge (excluding the English language);
• Other experiences (traineeship, tutoring, professional experience, etc.).

If the previous requirements are equal, candidates will be given preference who:
• have a family income not exceeding € 35.000,00 identified exclusively on the basis of the Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (ISEE) 2016, relating to the 2015 tax year.

With the same admission score, the applications will be further graded in increasing order of age of the competitor (from the youngest to the oldest). At the time of completing the application for participation in the assignment of the scholarship, the candidate must present the following documentation:
• Degree certificate showing the mark achieved;
• Certification of the level of knowledge of the English language or attestation of the university exam taken;
• Certificates of any post-graduate qualifications, languages ​​known and other experiences carried out;
• curriculum vitae;
• mod. ISEE 2016 (Indicator of Equivalent Economic Situation) relating to the 2015 tax year, issued, following a single self-declaration, made pursuant to Prime Ministerial Decree of 5 December 2013 n. 159, by Municipalities, Tax Assistance Centers (CAF) or INPS offices, on the economic condition of one's family unit. The scholarship selection procedure will be handled by a specially set up commission which will evaluate qualifications and requirements.

SIOI reserves the right to certify the level of knowledge of the English language. Following any renunciations, in order to identify the candidates entitled to the assignment of the scholarship, the ranking will be scrolled.

It reserves the right to request the original certificates from the scholarship winners. The application complete with the required documentation must be sent by 12.00 on 27 February 2017 by e-mail to SIOI at the following address: formint@sioi.org.
