Rome, 30 September 2011 – The Made in Italy team is strengthened in view of the States General of foreign trade as evidence of the interest of the business world in what will be the starting point for the relaunch of a sector that alone it is worth 25 percent of our gross domestic product. The team fielded by the undersecretary for foreign trade, Catia Polidori, to develop innovative solutions and ideas to be presented in the two days at the end of October is in fact enriched with important new arrivals: from today other big names in the industry will make available its export experience to share the critical issues that the main national productive sectors encounter in the internationalization process and therefore to identify, together with the government and institutions, every possible intervention to define the priorities of the Italy-system in the global challenge. The announcement was made by Polidori herself during the 6 sectoral tables which met again today for a further progress of the works before the final stage on 28 and 29 October.
These are the new names, which are added to the Made in ITALY working groups:
Francesco Divella (Divella pasta); Gaetano Maccaferri (Maccaferri Group); Antonio Moretti (Arfango / Estate Seven Bridges); Carlo Palmieri (Carpisa/ Yamamay); Ettore Riello ( Riello group SPA ) and Luisa Todini (Todini Costruzioni).

” The sectoral tables are an integral part of the States General and behind each group there are expert personalities who are confronted daily with the difficulties and hopes of companies. I have to say that it is a joint scouting effort between me and the Councilor export staff of the Premier, Massimo Calearo Ciman, testifying to the importance of this project for President Berlusconi. I personally thank the entrepreneurs who have responded to my invitation: I know how precious the time they dedicate to us is by subtracting from their work".
It should be remembered that the six entrepreneurs, presidents of as many sectoral working tables are Simone Bettini, Maurizio Marinella, Rodolfo Ortolani, Luca Poncato, Gianluca Rana, Roberto Snaidero. The tables concern the six main sectors of Made in ITALY (Agro-food; Environment/energy; Furniture-home system; Automation - Mechanics - Mobility; Clothing - Personal system and Services) and are made up of trade associations, officials of the economic development ministry, Unioncamere and Assocamerestero. In the final two days of October, the results elaborated will be heard, putting the operators face to face with those who "make" the rules (WTO, EU, Government).
