With an investment of about 17 million, Tamburi Investment Partners has acquired 14,95% of ITH, but in the future it could rise up to 15,75%

Drums Investment Partners (Tip:) acquired for approx 17 million euro 14,95% ITH, the controlling holding company 52,8% Sesa, an IT company listed on the Star segment of Borsa Italiana with a capitalization of 450 million euros. This was announced by Tip herself in a note, specifying that the investment, “included in an operation of buyback by ITH", provides for "agreements of put/call with ITH members aimed at enabling in perspective a further increase in the stake held up to 15,75%".

ITH brings together the founding partners and top management of Sesa, including the president and founder Paolo Castellacci, the executive vice president Giovanni Moriani and the managing director Alessandro Fabbroni. People with whom Tip “intends to strengthen the nucleus of control and favor – with a view to vera medium-long term partnership – a further acceleration of the development path of the Sesa Group, also at an international level”, continues the note.

Tip will appoint a representative to the board of directors of Sesa and ITH.

Sesa is active in the sector of value-added IT solutions and services for the business segment and aims to grow by consolidating its market share in Italy but also by increasing its penetration in Europe, starting with Germany. The last financial year closed on 30 April 2019 with consolidated revenues of over 1,5 billion euros. The employees are about two thousand.

Tip also underlines that "the leverage of the M&A" will be activated even more than in the past "on the most innovative market segments".
