Industria Italiana Autobus is the most important Italian company manufacturing vehicles for public road transport. IIA produces and distributes the brand Menarinibus. The company was born in 2015, but has its roots at the beginning of the century. Founded in Bologna in 1919 by Ettore Menarini, the company was initially called Ditta Menarini e C and mainly dealt with the creation of horse-drawn tourist carriages. IIA currently occupies 600 employees and has two production sites: the historic Bolognese plant in via San Donato 190, the company's administrative and operational headquarters (155.000 m50.000 of which 2 m975.000 covered with a 105.000 km test track), the Flumeri (AV) plant (7 mXNUMX of which XNUMX mXNUMX covered with a XNUMX km runway).
