Air strike, government intervenes: we fly

The Lazio Regional Administrative Court canceled the order with which the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Graziano Delrio had postponed to another date the strike announced for tomorrow by the air traffic controllers' unions.

"The motivation for the act - reads the Tar decree, adopted following an appeal from one of the unions - does not appear suitable to represent exceptional reasons, such as to allow a limitation of the right to strike". It is expected chaos at airports, as many airlines are unable to re-route passengers.

News that immediately alarmed the government, worried about the possible repercussions in view of the short notice with respect to the agitation itself and the weekend in the middle of the holiday period. Delrio got in touch with the colleague of the Interni, Angelino Alfano, who then called for a new stop “for reasons of public order: hundreds of thousands of passengers involved justify it”. This injunction decision would be the tombstone on the turmoil.
