Healthcare, employment contract renewed: 85 euro monthly increase

Signed the agreement between the minister of Pa Madia and the trade unions. Contract for the next three years which provides for an average monthly increase of 85 euros per capita and the payment of arrears. The nurses say no, the strike continues.

The unions and Aran have concluded a pre-agreement agreement for the renewal of the national contract in the health sector for the three-year period 2016-2018. The measure affects more than 500 thousand employees and provides for an average increase of 85 euros per month starting from March 2016st and the payment of the 2017-XNUMX arrears.

Satisfaction for the Minister of Health Beatrice Lorenzin: "It is an important step to restore dignity to thousands of professionals who work every day in our national health system and guarantee the health of our citizens". Now the negotiations will continue for the contract of the hospital doctors and for the new agreement with general practitioners. 

 

Still on strike instead nurses, who have decided not to sign the agreement.

The signing came after 28 hours of non-stop negotiation. “After about 10 years of strikes, mobilizations and initiatives, often alone as FP Cgil, today comes a first result. The third piece to recompose the framework of public work, after the renewal of the contract of the Central Functions and the recent agreement on that of the Local Functions”, announced the general secretary of the FP Cgil Serena Sorrentino.

91 euros per capita are foreseen to increase productivity funds and re-evaluate allowances following the supplementary bargaining. Among other novelties of the agreement, the 15 minutes of working time will be included in the calculation of the time worked dressing and the times of change turn. As regards all the other salient points of the contract – hiring, training, additional resources – a regional comparison will open.
