San Raffaele: IOR and Malacalza offer 250 million euros for the bailout

The IOR and Vittorio Malacalza have presented a joint offer of 250 million euros for the rescue of the St. Raphael. This is what Giuseppe Profiti, president of the San Raffaele Foundation, communicated at the end of the board meeting. "We have taken note of the formal and irrevocable offer of the IOR and Malacalza to intervene financially in the rehabilitation project", explained Profiti who then added that the offer will be divided 50% between the two bidders.

The 250 million euro, as specified in a note, will be guaranteed by a bank guarantee and will also provide for the addition of the assumption of all the liabilities of the companies included in the acquisition proposal which can currently be estimated at around 750 million euro. The proposal is binding, not subject to due diligence and subject to the vote of the creditors and the subsequent approval of the composition. The potential hole to be covered amounts to 1,5 billion. Tomorrow the plan to avoid bankruptcy will be presented to prosecutors Luigi Orsi and Laura Pedio, who are responsible for the investigation into the hospital group.
