Saipem pays off the 3,2 billion debt with Eni

New loan of 3,2 billion for Saipem, which takes advantage of it to pay off its debt to ENI in full, also using the resources deriving from the capital increase.

In fact, the company communicated that a consortium of banks has disbursed a loan of 3,2 billion, as part of the contract signed on 10 December 2015 for a total amount of 4,7 billion in senior credit lines (1,6 billion bridge to bond' at 18 months, 1,6 billion of 'term loan' at 5 years and 1,5 billion of 'revolving facility' at 5 years). Saipem therefore announces that, "in fulfillment of the agreements signed with Eni on 27 October 2015", the debt with the former parent company was simultaneously extinguished, "through the financial resources deriving from both the 'bridge to bond' and the 'term loan' as well as from the proceeds deriving from the recent subscription of the capital increase”.
