“As regards VAT, we are aware of the negative effects that an increase can cause, even if finding alternative coverage could be no less onerous” said Saccomanni. Minister Saccomanni spoke of the possibility of reducing VAT by three months or postponing it for a period of time "in order to look more clearly at the economic situation, having overcome the phase of uncertainty, which could show signs of improvement, given that all institutes project a recovery towards the second half of the year”.
