The Russian government, after a year and a half of severe recession, has cut its growth forecast from -0,2% for 2016 to -0,5%-0,6%. This was announced by Economy Minister Alexei Oulioukaiev.
In the first quarter of the year, GDP fell by 1,2% year-on-year and by 0,6% in the second; in 2015, GDP fell by 3,7%.
