Thus Camillo Rossotto, president of Rai Way, in a hearing in the Senate, answers the question of Senator Massimo Mucchetti on the ways in which he learned of the public purchase or exchange offer of Ei Towers on Rai Way.
"This takeover bid - he added - from Rai Way's perspective was unsolicited, unsolicited and unnegotiated". Rossotto specified that the company, which is restricted by the Government not to transfer more than 51%, "is not contestable" and "a global offer is a fact that has no precedents".
