Rome, Berdini's resignation is irrevocable

"Irrevocable" resignation. After stormy days, Paolo Berdini has left the seat of councilor for urban planning. The now former councilor communicated his decision with a note. “While the suburbs sink into endless degradation and the housing emergency increases – he writes -, the only concern seems to be the Roma stadium. We had to bring the city back to full legality and transparency of urban planning decisions, instead we continue on the path of contracted urban planning, which as is known has caused immense damage to Rome. It was my intention to serve the city by making skills and ideas available. I acknowledge that all the conditions to be able to continue my work have been lacking. I thank those who have collaborated with me and the many people who have supported me in these months of hard work. From now on, my resignation is irrevocable."
