State cashback refunds are coming. Consap, i.e. the concessionaire in charge of making digital payments, has already started the first disbursements and the operations will be completed by August 31st. The company has in fact received from the Ministry of the Economy the task of "liquidating refunds for purchases made and examining any complaints for missing or incorrect credit".
CASHBACK REFUNDS COMING SOON
Every citizen who participated in the state cashback will be credited up to 150 euros by the end of the month. The money will arrive directly to the current account via the IBAN previously provided. There are no communications or notifications, so to find out if the money to which you are entitled has arrived, you will need to check directly on the current account.
To date, according to calculations, around 6 million users will receive cashback refunds for the first half of 2021. For the second half, we remind you that the mechanism was suspended.
SUPERCASHBACK: REFUNDS BY NOVEMBER
In addition to the refunds of the ordinary cashback, Consap will also take care of the disbursement of refunds of up to 1.500 euros of the supercashback. In this case, the deadline has been set for November 30 and the disbursements will concern the 100 citizens who carried out the highest number of transactions in the first six months of 2021.
CASHBACK: COMPLAINTS
What can be done if the refund is not received? It is possible to submit a complaint by August 29, 2021. Consap explains that “only complaints submitted through the Cashback Complaint Portal will be taken into account. Any other requests sent to different channels will not be matched. Consap will examine the complaints by providing a reasoned reply within 30 days from the date of receipt and, if accepted, will arrange the payment due".
