Recount of votes, latest news on the names of those elected: Umberto Bossi rescued, here's who enters and who leaves

The recount of votes on the remainder of the proportional system in the 2022 general election brings new surprises: the recalculations modify the first data on the names of elected deputies and senators. And so there are those who enter and those who leave Parliament without having set foot there yet. The most striking case is that di Umberto Bossi. Given for exclusion, with the first counts, after 35 years of presence in Parliament he now returns to the Chamber with the honors of the news. His "rehabilitation" had been anticipated by Roberto Calderoli who communicated it to the senatur and his family on Wednesday afternoon.

On the other hand, errors and corrections were possible given the convoluted and complex calculation system introduced by Rosatellum, introduced three years ago but in its first electoral testing ground. A controversial law but that no one has managed to change in the past legislature and the controversies, therefore, leave the time they find.

So Umberto Bossi returns as well as the treasurer of the League Giulio Centemero, fished out with re-counts. But there are several names of those elected who lose the assignment as well as those of the excellent candidates who were initially excluded. The multiple nominations also complicated the picture. However, the Interior Ministry ensures that income and expenditure are zero for the parties (for the League, the two seats gained in Lombardy correspond to losses in Emilia-Romagna and Sicily).

Recount of votes: deputies and senators excluded and rehabilitated

Let's see some of the deputies and senators excluded and the rehabilitated, present in all the Regions.

Lucia Annibali, a courageous woman who had faced the battle with her ex-partner who had scarred her with acid, outgoing deputy of Italia Viva, had entered the re-elected but now loses her job instead.

In Emilia Romagna the outgoing deputy of the Democratic Party Andrea Rossi was "rescued" and in Lazio party mate Andrea Casu who takes the place of Marianna Madia, however also elected in other constituencies; in Umbria Pier Luigi Spiranelli (Pd) gives way to Emma Pavanelli (M5S) while Catia Polidori (FI) takes over from Chiara La Porta (FdI); in Abruzzo Giulio Sottanelli (Action) takes away the seat from Stefania Di Padova (Pd).

Also to be added: in Piemonte Paolo Romano (Verdi-Si) leaves and Antonino Iaria (M5S) enters while in Molise Caterina Cerroni (Pd) gives way to Elisabetta Lancellotta (FdI) and in Campania via Guido Milanese (FI) goes and Francesco Emilio Borrelli (Verdi-Si) enters. In Sicilia Annalisa Tardino (Lega) must pass the hand in favor of Giuseppe Provenzano (Pd) who, however, being already elected elsewhere, leaves it to his party mate Giovanna Iacono.

Finally + Europe remained below the threshold for a small percentage reiterates "reservations and perplexities" and asks for a recount of the votes.
