RCS, Diego Della Valle subscribes to all option rights and will rise to 8,81% of the capital

The owner of Tod's kept his promises and, as anticipated yesterday, subscribed all his option rights for 28.669.137 RCS ordinary shares which, in the event of full subscription of the shares, correspond to 8,81% of the capital - Increase subscribed for 85% – from Wednesday unexercised rights in auction for five sittings

Diego Della Valle has subscribed all his option rights on the Rcs capital increase and will rise to 8,81% of the capital in the event of full subscription of the shares offered. This was communicated in a note by Di.Vi.Finanziaria and Dorint Holding, the companies through which Diego Della Valle holds the stake in the editorial group that publishes Corriere della Sera.

The two companies, according to the note, today exercised “all the option rights pertaining to them (9.556.379 overall) subscribing, as a result, a total of 28.669.137 ordinary Rcs Mediagroup shares”. Following the increase, DI.VI. Finanziaria and Dorint Holding will hold a total of 38.225.516 ordinary shares of RCS Mediagroup which correspond, in the event of full subscription of the ordinary shares offered by RCS, to 8,81% of the share capital.

Today, the last day to exercise the option rights and subscribe the increase at the unit price of 1,235 euro, Rcs closed down by 1,28% to 1,23 euro between trading booms equal to 24% of the current voting capital with 26,4 million shares changed hands. According to what has been learned from financial sources, 85% of the increase has been subscribed and from Wednesday, for five sessions, the unexercised option rights for the remaining 15% will be offered at auction on the Stock Exchange.
