Refugees, EU: half to Germany and France

The European Union will ask Germany, France and Spain to accept a total of over 70 refugees. This was announced today by a European source, specifying that Germany will receive 31 and France 24. Alone, therefore, the first two economies of the Eurozone will welcome almost half of the 120 refugees who will be relocated on the basis of the new plan that the president of the EU Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, will present shortly.

"What we are witnessing is something that will occupy us and that will change our country in the years to come - Chancellor Angela Merkel said today - We want this change to be positive and we believe we can do it".

As for France, Paris will propose to organize and host an international conference. This was announced by President François Hollande, assuring that the European migrant crisis "can and will be brought under control".
