Dazn prices on the rise for subscribers. As announced in recent months, the company has updated the rates valid for watching the next Serie A season and the other sports content offered by the company, also intervening on the now infamous double user.
The news was announced today through an email sent to subscribers and immediately created controversy. In fact, on Twitter, the hashtag #DaznOut immediately entered the trend, with users enraged by the increases announced in the face of the numerous inefficiencies experienced in the past season.
Rising Dazn prices: this is how much it will cost to subscribe
Starting in September, Dazn will make two different types of subscription available to users. There "standard" version from 29,99 euros per month and the "plus" version from 39,99 per month.
What will happen to the old woman promotion from 19,99? Eliminated. Those who have paid this amount up to now will automatically switch to the 29,99 euro version from September, paying 10 euros more per month, 120 per year.
How will dual use work?
With the standard version of 29,99 euros per month you can watch matches simultaneously only if connected to the same internet network. Translated: we will be able to stay in the same house, but in two different rooms, but not in two houses or in two different places. There will still be the possibility of using Dazn away from home, but not if the App is used from another registered device. “The Dazn account is personal and cannot be shared. Only those who live with you can use your Dazn account, in the prescribed manner ”, underlines the company in the email.
Another important novelty concerns the number of devices to register. Compared to the current 6, with the Standard version only two devices can be registered on the Dazn App.
Two different houses only with Dazn Plus
Those who want to watch matches simultaneously from two different places will have to opt for the Plus version from 39,99 euros per month. What changes compared to today? Only the price. You can register up to six devices and watch content simultaneously even if you are not connected to the same Internet network. Only if for the past Serie A season, having joined the initial promotion, it was possible to take advantage of the service by paying 19,99 euros per month (29,99 without an offer), from September it will cost double.
To switch to the Plus version, again starting from September 2022 (day varies depending on the date on which the subscription is charged) you will simply have to access the "My Account" version on the site Dazn and request the upgrade.

As expected, Dazn's announcement sparked user protests on social media. In fact, many season-ticket holders threaten to cancel their season tickets, refusing to pay more, above all by virtue of the numerous disruptions suffered during the past Serie A season due to the App malfunctions.
