Poltrona Frau returns to profit in the first half after the loss of 2011

The Poltrona Frau group closed the first six months with substantially revenues in line with the same period of 2011, at 127,7 million euros, and with a return to profit (0,3 million euro) after the loss of approximately 1,4 million euro recorded in the first half of last year. This was communicated by the Group itself at the end of the BoD.

Approximately 15% growth in Ebitda to 7,9 million euros during the first half of 2012 compared to the same period of the previous year "is attributable to the development of the Contract turnover of Cassina and Interiors in Motion mainly with Chrysler on the American market, together with the lower structure and discretionary costs incurred in the period".

The operating result, equal to 4,8 million euros in the first six months of 2012, “increased by over 40% compared to the same period of the previous year, thanks to the growth in Ebitda and lower depreciation, provisions and impairment losses, up by 0,4 million”.

Net financial debt improved by 3 million euro compared to December 2011, settling at 84,3 million euro.

In the middle of the day, the Poltrona Frau share lost about 1% in Piazza Affari.
