SMEs, Unicredit launches the Network Bond

Presented today, the new instrument will be launched in January and will last six years - The companies that purchase it will be able to benefit from an improvement in the rating recognized by the Bank, as well as guarantees from Confidi and the Central Guarantee Fund and funds made available by the Deposit and loan fund.

It's called Bond delle Reti and has the purpose of financing companies, especially SMEs, which have chosen to join together. Unicredit presented it today in collaboration with the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, the Central Guarantee Fund, Confidi, various trade associations and local authorities. The bond will be launched in January and will last for six years.

"With this dedicated product we want to support the investments of business networks - commented Gabriele Piccini, country chairman of Unicredit Italy - through an improvement in the rating with the effect of reducing financing costs".

Through the Network Bond, regional development agencies, chambers of commerce and local authorities throughout the country will be able to "finalize their measures intended for business combinations", reads a company release.
