PLF, passenger locator form: the 15 countries that request it

Il Green passesalone is not enough, not even if released after the second dose. In fact, there are more and more countries that require foreign tourists to provide the PLF form, acronym for Passenger Locator Form. A document that in recent days has conquered the front pages of many Italian and foreign newspapers, because many tourists have been forced to give up their trip for not filling it out.

WHAT IS THE PLF (PASSENGER LOCATOR FORM)

It is a document, downloadable online, from an official site (but it is valid only for some) or from the national platforms of the destination countries that travelers must fill out before arriving and enjoying the well-deserved holidays in safety. Inside it you must indicate all the useful references to be located in the event that a Covid-19 infection occurs during the trip: place of origin, any previous stays in other countries, address of stay. It can be exhibited in both paper and digital format.

Last useful information: a single Passenger locator form is enough for all family members or for the whole group of friends travelling, provided that the information on places and dates coincides for everyone.

PLF (PASSENGER LOCATOR FORM): THE COUNTRIES THAT REQUIRE IT

A total of fifteen countries currently require the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) from incoming foreign travellers. The document, we reiterate, supports the green pass which certifies that the tourist has been vaccinated.

In strictly alphabetical order, the PLF is used to go to:

Italy also requires the Plf , but only to those who come from abroad: therefore to foreign tourists, but also to Italian citizens who, after a business trip or a holiday, return to our country.

However, there are differences from country to country. Cyprus, Portugal, Slovakia and Spain require the Passenger Locator Form only from travelers arriving by plane. So if you are traveling by land or by sea it will not be necessary to fill in the document. Ireland also requires it from those traveling by sea, while to go to all other countries the PLF must be completed and presented in all three cases.
