Pier Silvio Berlusconi, super coupon of 10 million

Pier Silvio Berlusconi begins 2016 by cashing a check for around 10 million euros. On 20 January the Holding Italiana Quinta, wholly controlled by Vice President and CEO of Mediaset, has in fact paid out a maxi-dividend, resulting from the 7,5 million profit in the 2015 financial statements and the 2,5 million drawn from extraordinary reserves (equal to 124,3 million). The coupon is decidedly more generous than last year when it was 7,04 million against 2,2 million in profits. The operation follows the previous distribution of dividends Fininvest

Scrolling through the balance sheet data as at 30 September 2015, it also emerges that the safe can be counted on cash and cash equivalents of approximately 114 million between bank and postal deposits to which 13,6 million of other securities must be added. A 'treasure', therefore, which is around 128 million euros overall. Holding Italiana Quinta has two shareholdings: 7,652% of Fininvest – which guaranteed it an extraordinary dividend of 7,16 million after the closing of the financial statements – and 16,66% of B Cinque, the holding company created in 2012 which collects all five of the Cavaliere's children, namely Marina, Pier Silvio, Barbara, Eleonora and Luigi, are the shareholders.

A company that has so far given little economic satisfaction and with a 2015 that closed with a slight loss. Despite this, the Italian Quinta Holding still "deems to maintain the valorisation of the participation at the cost".
