Piazza Affari deflates after the boom

After a festive Monday (+3,6%) and a moderate increase on Tuesday morning, in the afternoon Piazza Affari resets its gains and floats just below parity. Paris is also flat (-0,01%), while Frankfurt (+0,38%) and London (+0,46%) are still moving in positive territory. Wall Street also did well: S&P +0,33%, Dow Jones +0,28%, Nasdaq +0,47%.

On the bond side, however, the BTP-Bund spread it stands at 164 basis points. 

This morning the Treasury has placed ctz maturing in April 2016 for 3 billion euros, the maximum amount envisaged. The yield remained stable at 0,786%, while demand reached 4,5 billion euro, for a coverage ratio of 1,51, a slight increase compared to the April auction.

Also placed the 15th tranche of btp 5-year bonds indexed to inflation in the euro area, maturing in 2018. Securities worth one billion euro were sold, the maximum amount offered, while requests reached 2,026 billion. The interest rate stood at 0,53%, marking a drop of 0,68 points compared to the last auction of the same type.

As for the performance of individual shares, the best stock of the Ftse Mib is still that of Banca Popolare di Milano (+2,87% later the placement of the unopted following the capital increase last Friday). Well too Mediaset (+ 2,66%), Atlantia (+ 2,23%), Banco Popolare (+1,81 after the merger and incorporation of Creberg) e Tod'S (+ 1,53%). 

Instead, they are placed at the bottom of the list Telecom Italy (-1,64%), Saipem (-1,43, despite the 750 million orders announced in the afternoon), Salvatore Ferragamo (-1,34%), Finmeccanica (-1,24%) And Terna (-1,12%).

Among the industrialists it also rises Fiat (+1,12%) after the buy recommendation by Barclays. Mediaset is up by 2,55%: Berenberg confirms the Buy judgment with a target price of 3,65 euros (from 3,60 euros). sapphire +1,34% in the wake ofMoody's upgrades
