For Ryanair boom in passengers in November, EasyJet also grows

Effervescent day for the two main European low cost airlines, the Irish Ryanair and the British EasyJet, both of which report very positive results.

Ryanair Holdings in fact, it announced that in November traffic grew by 22%, to 6,35 million passengers, against the increase from 81 to 88% of the load factor. The performance of the Irish company is better than expected in the first month of the winter season, which allowed the low-cost carrier to raise its profit forecasts after taxes for the full year from 750-770 to 810-830 million euros. In London, the stock flies up by more than eight percentage points.

It registers a couple of million fewer passengers but the traffic of the English competitor is still growing EasyJet, which announced that 4.386.296 people were transported last month, 3,1% more than in the same month in 2013.

The load factor has also improved in this case, passing from 89% to 89,5%, even higher than that of Ryanair, which however has grown more. The positive effects of the last few weeks can also be seen on the London Stock Exchange, where EasyJet is listed and is moving sharply higher today: by mid-morning the share was gaining over 2,6%.
