According to the Financial Times, Bocconi managers are among the top in the world

Bocconi's rise in the rankings continues with a new recognition for the quality of teaching and the positive feedback from its graduates on the international job market. In fact, the university gains six positions in the 2013 Masters in Management ranking, published today by Financial Times, and ranks 17th in the world. Bocconi is also present in the standings with the Cems programme, of which it is a founding partner, which ranks 7th.

The recognition in the ranking is for the Master of science program in International management, a two-year degree program taught in English, launched in 2006 and which debuted in the ranking FT in 2010 in 33rd place. The assessment for the ranking is based on a number of criteria, including graduates' international mobility, students' international experience during the two-year term, and graduates' salary and career progression.

“Continued progression in an extremely competitive ranking of our Master in International Management,” he comments Stephen Caselli, pro-rector for internationalization at Bocconi, "is concrete recognition of the program's ability to be a point of reference for attracting young talent in Europe, in terms of quality, international dimension and success in placement and career progression of graduates”.

In the classifications based on the evaluation of teaching by alumni, a criterion not used in the general ranking, Bocconi ranked 10th both for the quality of finance and marketing teachings.

The result in the Masters in Management ranking follows the good news of the last few months for Bocconi which demonstrates clear appreciation also by employers and the market in general. In the QS World University Ranking 2013, published last week, Bocconi moved up 17 steps in the ranking of the best universities for social sciences and management, placing 29th in the world and ninth in Europe. While in June the Bocconi Master of science in Finance had risen 7 positions in the ranking of Financial Times, ranking 20th.
