I Italian retirees they perceive on average 1.140 per month, which over the whole year correspond to 13.647 euros net and 17.040 euros gross (+400 euros on the previous year). Istat writes it in a study published today and related to 2014.
According to the analysis, retirees fell to 16,3 million, 134 thousand less than in 2013, and, taking into account all treatments, half of them receive less than 12 thousand 532 euros, approximately 1.045 euros per month.
Istat also notes that the gross retirement income of graduates it is on average around 2.490 euros per month, more than double that of people without an educational qualification or with at most an elementary school certificate (1.130 euros).
The families with pensioners are estimated at 12 million 400 thousand. For almost two-thirds of these (63,2%), pension transfers represent over 75% of disposable family income (for 26,5% the only source of income).
The estimate of the average net income of these families is 28 thousand 480 euros, approximately 2 thousand euros lower than that of families without pensioners (equal to 30.400 euros).
Il risk of poverty it is high among pensioners who live alone (22,3%) or with children who in turn are single parents (17,2%). The situation is more serious when the pensioner also has to bear the weight of other adult members who do not receive income from work: in these cases 31,3% of families are at risk of poverty.
