Retirees, the nightmare of Cud online

Daughter of Monti's spending review, the INPS telematic revolution throws those who aren't exactly accustomed to online navigation into despair: in 2012 only a third of pensioners between 60 and 64 years of age used the Internet.

Retirees, the nightmare of Cud online

It was supposed to be a help, instead it turned out to be a torment. The Cud 2013 online has proved to be a significant problem for retirees in Italy. And the memory of the queues at the counters, apparently, is not enough to overcome the obstacle. Daughter of Monti's spending review, the telematic revolution of the INPS plunges those who aren't exactly accustomed to online navigation into despair.

Until last year, the single certificate of pension or employment income arrived at home by ordinary mail. Now you have to download it from the INPS website. And who doesn't have a printer, a computer, a connection? Unfortunately he has to make do, or call the toll-free number 800.434.320. You can also go to the Inps or Caf offices, or ask for the form at the post office, but in this case the request is not free: in post offices it costs 3,27 euros.

Thanks to these innovations, INPS expects to save around 50 million euros. Too bad that in 2012 only a third of pensioners aged between 60 and 64 used the Internet. A fraction that decreases with increasing age.
