PDL, it's a crisis: Bondi hands over his resignation, Berlusconi refuses it

The PDL seems close to collapse. The straw that broke the camel's back is the Bondi's resignationpresented by the party coordinator. Who explained the choice with the intention of escaping "personal attacks and denigration which are part of the worst policy".

Resignation though they were not accepted"Alfano and I reject Bondi's resignation," replied the former prime minister, refusing to make any further statements regarding the party's crisis.

Bondi is not new to resignation: in 2011 it was the collapses of Pompei to push the then minister of cultural heritage to hand them over. Now the political crisis that emerged with the vote at administrative tried again the former minister, who already after the results of Pisapia in Milan he had communicated his intention to resign.

Berlusconi himself, however, has placed a very heavy mortgage on the future of the party, defining it "finite“, and shortly announcing a new political initiative. In this regard, the PDL senator Altero Matteoli intervened: "Changing the name of the party does not seem to me the solution, we need to invent another strategy".

The former prime minister also questioned his permanence in politics: "I don't know if I will still be in the field".
