Patrizia Grieco (Assonime), the courage to rediscover the heresy of European industrial policy

But what industrial policy is the President of Assonime talking about? Not a policy made of subsidies and relaxation of the rules on state aid, which would undermine the single market and put Italy in serious difficulty due to its limited budget availability, but an industrial policy that "encourages the necessary changes" but "without distorting the market favoring some companies to the detriment of others". Grieco's ideas are very clear and deserve great appreciation, then whether the Government is able to put them into practice is another matter.
