"I can't wait to get out there and campaign for Hillary Clinton." The president of the United States, Barack Obama, said so in a video released by the Clinton campaign, in which he announces his endorsement of the former secretary of state candidate to succeed him in the White House.
“I don't think there's ever been anyone quite as qualified for that job,” Obama says. The president will campaign alongside Hillary Clinton next week in Wisconsin.
“I know how difficult this job is. That's why I know that Hillary will do it well – continues the current president – I'm with her. She has the courage, understanding and heart to do it. And I'm saying this from someone who's had 20 debates with you. I saw her good judgment, her tenacity, her commitment to our values, and her determination to give all Americans a chance.”
“Honored to have you, President,” Hillary tweeted in response to Obama's announcement.
“Obama has just given his endorsement to corrupt Hillary. She wants four more years of Obama, but nobody else wants them!”. Republican candidate for the White House Donald Trump tweeted.
