Appointments: Perfume to Leonardo. Del Fante to Poste, Ferraris to Terna

The Treasury has decided and published the nominations for the renewals of the board of directors. Confirmed Claudio Descalzi and Emma Marcegaglia at Eni, Francesco Starace and Patrizia Grieco at Enel. Farina will be president of Poste. Roberta Neri remains at Enav but the president changes.

Appointments: Perfume to Leonardo. Del Fante to Poste, Ferraris to Terna

The government has decided on the appointments of public spas. Alessandro Profumo, as anticipated by FIRSTonline, becomes CEO of Leonardo in place of Mauro Moretti who leaves. Outgoing president Gianni De Gennaro confirmed. The top management of Poste Italiane changes: the CEO Francesco Caio leaves as does the president Luisa Todini and are replaced, respectively, by Matteo Del Fante (outgoing from Terna) and Bian Maria Farina (Poste Vita). Confirmed the top management of Eni and Enel: Claudio Descalzi and Emma Marcegaglia at the Six-legged dog, Francesco Starace and Patrizia Grieco at the national electricity group. The current CFO of Poste, Luigi Ferraris should go to Terna. Roberta Neri confirmed in the role of CEO at Enav; Roberto Scaramella takes the presidency.

With reference to the shareholders' meeting of Enav SpA, called for 28 April 2017, the Ministry, owner of 53,37% of the share capital, will deposit the following list at the company's headquarters for the appointment of the new Board of Directors:

With reference to the shareholders' meeting of Eni SpA, called for 13 April 2017, the Ministry, which owns 4,34% of the share capital and through Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (82,77% owned by the MEF) of a a further 25,76%, will deposit the following lists for the appointment of the new Board of Directors and the Board of Statutory Auditors:

With reference to the shareholders' meeting of Poste Italiane SpA, convened for 27 April 2017, the Ministry, owner of 29,30% of the share capital and through Cassa Depositi e Prestiti of a further 35% stake, will deposit at the company headquarters the following list for the appointment of the new Board of Directors:

"The names that make up the above lists - explains the press release of the Ministry of Economy (MEF) - were identified according to a selection procedure, carried out - in line with the provisions of the Directive of the Minister of Economy and Finance on identification procedures of the members of the corporate bodies of the companies owned by the Ministry - with the support of leading consultancy firms for managerial selection and recruitment (Eric Salmon & Partners, Korn Ferry, Spencer Stuart), on the basis of professional criteria and according to customary practices common market".

As for the company Terna SpA, whose appointments are made by the Board of Directors of Cassa depositi e prestiti, the proposals of the CDP top management will be consistent with the criteria followed by the Government in the appointments within its competence.

For Terna, the indication would reward the CFO of Poste Luigi Ferraris which becomes Ad of the energy group.

There is no lack of customary thanks from the MEF: a Ferdinando Falco Beccalli "for his commitment in recent years to the presidency of Enav spa and for having assisted the managing director in the process of listing the company"; to Luisa Todini “for the commitment and passion he has always shown in his role as president of Poste Italiane spa. His work has made a strong contribution to the strengthening of the largest Italian social company recently listed on the Stock Exchange ”; to Francesco Caio, which "laid the foundations for the future development of Poste Italiane"; to Mauro Moretti, which "has managed and implemented important transformation processes of industrial Groups of strategic importance in the country, such as Ferrovie dello Stato and Finmeccanica (today Leonardo), with results that have been appreciated by the market and by investors".
