General Appointments: changes take place in subsidiaries

Generali Italia revolutionizes its subsidiaries, announcing new roles in Generali Italia Distribution and Alleanza Assicurazioni. The appointments, the company led by Marco Sesana informs, will be operational from 1 March 2020.

Going into details, Stephen Gentiles, architect for Generali Italia of the unification of the network and of the historic initials of the new single mandate, will assume the role of Senior Advisor for Generali Italia, reporting directly to Sesana, with a focus on the evolution of distribution models and on distribution issues in the associative field . 

The guide of Generali Italy network is entrusted to Marco Oddone, as Chief Marketing & Distribution Officer. “With consolidated experience in the field of Distribution, Oddone has successfully led various distribution structures of the group and, in recent years, the transformation of the Alliance Network making it the first digitized insurance network in Europe” explains Generali Italia in a note.   

Moving on to Insurance Alliance, the parent company has decided to set up the new Distribution structure, entrusting it to Ezio Peroni, while the new Marketing structure will be led by Claudia Ghinfanti from March. Both will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer David Sparrow.

Our goal is to increase our ability to provide valuable advice, a pillar of the "Life Partner" strategy. After signing the single mandate with Generali's Agent Groups and the digital transformation of the Alleanza Network, we want to continue to increase our leadership with ever greater attention to the evolution of distribution models".
