The organizational model, dedicated to approximately 3000 small and medium-sized enterprises, has the objective of offering high-profile consultancy and establishing a "privileged" dialogue with the customer, to whom new and qualified services will be addressed in a logic of diversification.

Quick decision-making, proximity to the customer and consultative approach. These are the three pillars on which the new Corporate Top service model just launched by Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena. The organizational model, dedicated to approximately 3000 small and medium-sized enterprises, has the objective of offering high-profile consultancy and establishing a "privileged" dialogue with the customer, to whom new and qualified services will be addressed in a logic of diversification.

Currently, in fact, SMEs show needs increasingly oriented towards customization criteria and, precisely for this reason, the care of the relationship and the ability to identify the right solutions are combined in the new Mps Corporate Top model with the reduction of response times and with the utmost attention to credit quality.

"The new Corporate Top service model will allow us to establish a privileged dialogue with companies, capable of further promoting the development of the role of reference that the Bank sets itself - he says Sergio Vicinanza, head of the Corporate and Investment Banking department of Mps – This important role will be achieved through speed and quality in responding to the needs of companies, constant interaction with credit and with product specialists from the point of view of the Corporate Financial Community which operates according to the logic of advisory and partnership with the customer, capable of support the same in the development of its business”.

The distinctive elements. The new corporate supply chain is based on three distinctive elements: rapid decision-making, with a short chain of governance and streamlined operating processes; proximity to the customer, thanks to a dedicated network and small customer portfolios to maximize contact and follow-up opportunities; consultancy approach, through an offer strategy that focuses on elements with high added value and highly specialisation, thanks to the synergy of skills already present in the Montepaschi Group (corporate finance, capital markets, foreign countries, subsidized finance, leasing & factoring, hedging instruments and transaction banking).

Organisational model. Under the Corporate and Investment Banking Department, led by Sergio Vicinanza, the new "Corporate Top and Products area" was set up under the responsibility of Fabrizio Schintu. The structure will be divided into four services, two newly established – Corporate Top and Facilitated Finance, respectively entrusted to Salvatore Di Puma and Ivan Niglio -, and two already existing – Corporate Products and Guarantee and Funding Bodies headed by Lucio Zannella and Massimo Di Maulo -. At Network level, the new commercial chain envisages the establishment of 8 Top Corporate Centres, one per geographical area, made up of teams of relationship managers with specialist skills and adequate profile skills, led by a coordinator manager.
