MiSE: new contributions to enhance Italian textiles

The decree that governs the criteria, conditions and methods for allocating part of the resources of the "Made in Italy" fund to incentivize, enhance and promote the quality of carded products on the markets dates back to 9 May.

MiSE: new contributions to enhance Italian textiles

As can be read from the Information Note, last May 9 was published in the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic the decree of the Minister of Economic Development which governs the criteria, conditions and procedures for allocating part of the resources of the "Made in Italy" fundfor an amount of 2 million euros. This will be intended the disbursement of contributions for the realization of studies and research aimed at certifying the quality and wholesomeness of textile products, enhancing the typical nature of the processes and their ecological characteristics. In particular, the decree provides for the allocation of financial resources to the Regions and autonomous Provinces that present programs for the implementation of interventions in favor of companies producing carded textile products, made with secondary raw materials as defined by current legislation, through the concession of contributions.

The intervention programs presented envisage different types of actions directed to: promote the quality and wholesomeness of carded products through innovation and environmental sustainability of processes and products; valorise carded products by obtaining quality and wholesomeness marks and/or certifications; promote carded products on the markets following the achievement of marks and/or certifications.

The Regions and Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano interested in presenting these programs are invited to do so by 8 July 2013.
