Migrants: Denmark unblocks trains and roads on the border with Germany

After the controversy over yesterday's decision to interrupt rail and road links with Germany, the Danish authorities have decided to reopen the communication routes that connect the Jutland peninsula with the German nation. The Itv television broadcaster communicates it on its website.

Yesterday's decision to block all access within its borders was taken after 300 migrants had crossed a highway in northern Denmark on foot in an attempt to reach the Swedish town of Malmoe. For the Syrians, in fact, compared to Denmark, Sweden could more easily accept the applications of asylum seekers.

Traffic from Germany to Denmark has resumed this morning but some traffic restrictions remain. Yesterday the Danish police reported that 3.000 "foreigners" had arrived in Denmark since last Sunday.
