Weather: nightmare weekend, up to 40 degrees

Italy at the mercy of the heat. For some days, due to the return of the now famous Charon, temperatures have reached very high values throughout the territory, with peaks of 38-39 degrees from South to North. And it's not over yet.

Temperatures could reach even higher peaks over the weekend due to the African anticyclone which will carry warm air from the Sahara.

Sweltering heat across the country. 39 degrees expected in Bologna, 36 in Rome and Florence, 35 in Milan. In the areas of Foggia, Matera, Taranto, in Emilia, Marche and Sicily, temperatures between 37-39 degrees could be reached.

It is therefore necessary to hold on and wait for the beginning of next week when the cooler air coming from the Atlantic will be able to contrast Charon, causing temperatures to drop by a few degrees, especially in the north.
