Weather, Epiphany with sun and mild weather but only until Monday

After days of freezing weather, the beginning of the week will be marked by sunshine and once again mild temperatures over almost all of Italy: from Tuesday 8 January, it will worsen again with snow, rain and cold, especially on the Adriatic side - VIDEO.

Epiphany in the stocking brings the sun and slightly less rigid temperatures. After a frosty start to 2019 in almost all of Italy, a slight rise in temperatures is expected from Sunday 6 January and also for the next few days: in short, the climate will still be fully wintery, but it will be a little less cold and, at least until Tuesday, there will be good weather almost everywhere. Then, right on Tuesday it will start to get worse, with snowfalls in the North and rains in the Centre-South, especially on the Adriatic side which will continue to be the hardest hit by both cold spells and possible bad weather. However, the temperatures for the beginning of this week will be milder, as mentioned, almost everywhere: the highs will once again well exceed 10 degrees in all the Tyrrhenian regions, from Liguria to Sicily and Sardinia.

In the islands it will also touch 14-15 degrees, in Rome about 10 are expected while also in the capitals of the North the mercury column it will go back up to 8 degrees in Milan and Turin and 13 in Genoa. Same script, more or less, for Tuesday, even if, as mentioned, some bad weather will arrive and therefore here and there the minimum temperatures will drop well below zero again and the maximum temperatures will also drop, although remaining largely in line or even above the average for the period.
