The Prime Minister Mario Monti will meet the President of the French Republic François Hollande on an official visit on Tuesday in Paris. This was communicated by the website of the Italian government.
The meeting, a working lunch to be precise, comes at a time when the markets, although relieved by the words of ECB president Mario Draghi, are particularly agitated over the issues of the spread crisis and defaults in Greece and Spain. In particular, in these hours the president of the EU Commission Josè Manuel Barroso has warned Greece to bring "results" as soon as possible in order to save its permanence in the euro area. Prime Minister Monti will then travel to Finland on Wednesday.
