THEHighway A26 – which connects Genoa to Alexandria – it is closed in the stretch of access to the Ligurian capital. This was established on Monday evening by the management of the Autostrade section after the Genoa Public Prosecutor's Office had essentially notified the concessionaire of the measure. The reason would be the poor conditions of two viaducts to be checked: the Pecetti and the Fado.
These are two of the finished infrastructures in the investigation into the so-called false reports, a trend born from the investigations into the collapse of the Morandi Bridge, which highlighted how several bridges were in much worse conditions than those indicated in the assessments then sent to the Ministry of Transport.
