Invitalia and the Ministry of the Interior have signed an agreement which provides for the adoption of measures aimed at contributing to the employment and social reintegration of witnesses of justice and protected subjects, giving them the necessary help to start their own business or to reconvert and relaunch businesses who have suffered or may suffer damage due to the declarations made or due to the application of special protective measures.
In detail, Invitalia will take care of translating the entrepreneurial idea into a concrete business project, examining the conditions necessary for its realization - from financial resources to procedural aspects, providing advice and assistance, verifying the possibilities of development and reconversion of the activities existing by protected subjects and abandoned due to entry into the protection programme.
Invitalia will therefore guide and accompany the protected subjects in choosing and using the incentives managed by the Agency, directing the financial resources managed by the Central Protection Commission and other possible sources of coverage. Furthermore, it will support business start-up plans or plans for the conversion and revitalization of existing businesses, providing the real accompanying services necessary. For this purpose, it may also activate "project partnerships" with external subjects (for example with tutor companies).

In fact, we do not limit ourselves to guaranteeing the sole existence of the witness of justice - explains Arcuri - but we make him once again the protagonist of his working and existential experience through support for the concrete realization of self-entrepreneurial projects and the provision of technical-financial support specialized for the consolidation, expansion and conversion of existing companies”.
Finally, the protocol provides for the establishment of a coordination table that can give support and assistance to the activity of the contact person, which will be made up - for the Central Protection Service - by officials expressly delegated by the Director of the Service and, for Invitalia, by experts from the same agency.
