The case relating to the non-return of the salaries of the parliamentarians of the Five Star Movement is widening. Compared to what was officially declared by the grillini, from the Fund of the Ministry of Economic Development for small and medium-sized enterprises, which the sums to which M5S deputies and senators said they wanted to give up should have flowed, 1,4 million euros are missing.
“I find the bad apples and chase them away, no one will affect the name of the M5S,” commented the political leader of the Movement, Luigi Di Maio. But the purge, if there is one, will have to happen quickly: when the "rotten apples" are elected to Parliament, it will become impossible to dismiss them. “The news in a normal country is that M5S has returned 23 million and 100 thousand euros in salaries – continued Di Maio – and this is certified by everyone and there are 7 thousand companies in Italy who testify to it because that money has started 7 thousand companies and 14 thousand jobs”.
The issue, according to the complaint from a service of the Hyenas, concerns at least a dozen parliamentarians. So not only Cecconi and Martelli, on whom the accusations had initially focused. And from the first checks, the leaders of the Movement admit that the "hole" on the refunds for the microcredit fund is "bigger" than the over 200 thousand euros estimated by the media.
In the evening, Senator Grillino Maurizio Buccarella, targeted by the Hyenas, announced his self-suspension: “I consider myself self-suspended from the M5s to also protect my personal and family serenity. I have just sent Tirendiconto assistance the unsuccessful transfers of the last three months of 2017 (total 12.292,75 euros), so far published on the site in the form of a mere order. In relation to the last two months of November and December, however, I had done something lightly: I had revoked the two transfers".
