Optimism for Piazza Affari rises to 42%

The optimism of insiders for the Italian Stock Exchange is consolidating, despite the worsening of Russia's difficulties and the increasingly uncertain scenario into which the Eurozone has plunged due to the crisis in Greece. In fact, the horizon always appears serene, positively influenced by the new race in the United States, by cheaper oil and by the extreme generosity that the ECB's monetary policy has now achieved. This is what emerges from the December survey that Assiom Forex carried out, in collaboration with "Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor", among its shareholders.

259 operators took part in the research, of which 42% (40% in November) see Piazza Affari rise between 3 and 10 percent in the next six months. The changes, albeit minimal, reinforce the perception of the positive climate: in fact, those who estimate the price list down (to 23% from 24%) and those who indicate it stable (to 27% from 31%) have slightly decreased, while, at the same time, the operators expecting a strong increase (over 6%) doubled (to 3% from 10%). According to the president of Assiom Forex, Giuseppe Attanà, the reasons for this optimism "are also to be attributed to the current low level of returns on the money market and government bonds in general".
