The gap between Btp and Bund widens again compared to yesterday's 178 basis points: at the start of the day, the spread reaches 185 basis points, to then narrow slightly, but still remaining above 180.
The yields on the ten-year maturity of the Italian benchmark also increased, reaching 2,92%. The increase is a direct consequence of the recall of Mario Draghi, president of the ECB, who yesterday reprimanded Italy.
Spain is doing better, where the differential between the ten-year Bonos and the German Bunds stands at 158, keeping yields at 2,65%.
