In the United States, the services sector ISM index decreased to 54,2 points in October from 55,1 in September. The figure is slightly below the expectations of analysts who estimated a drop in the index to 54,5. The component that measures new orders fell to 54,8 points from 57,7, that on employment rose to 54,9 from 51,1 and finally the price component decreased to 65,6 points from 68,1 a month ago.
