Indictment for Salvatore Ligresti, Giancarlo De Filippo and Niccolo Lucchini. This is the request from the prosecutor of Milan Luigi Orsi, in the context of the investigation into the foreign shareholder trusts of Premafin. The charge for the three suspects is market manipulation. The preliminary hearing will begin on March 22 before the Gup of the Milan court, Alessandra Clemente.
Orsi also asked for another indictment for Salvatore Ligresti and Giancarlo Giannini, former president and commissioner of Isvap. In this case the two suspects are charged with the crime of corruption, but Giannini must also answer for the accusation of slander against the Ligresti family.
At the center of the corruption story is the promise that Ligresti would have made to Giannini to intercede with Silvio Berlusconi for his appointment to the Antitrust.
