“Yesterday there was a great discussion around the indications of the International Monetary Fund, but in the speech I gave to the Chambers and on which we were trusted, I clearly said that we will carry out a reform that will overcome the Imu as it is . Let's continue on this path." Prime Minister Enrico Letta said it today, thus responding to the findings arrived yesterday from the IMF and, indirectly, to the similar assessments expressed this morning by the OECD.
"This discussion will be collegial as always - added the Prime Minister -, I don't see any further comments to make with respect to this".
Further comments which instead came from Angelino Alfano: “As usual, the IMF has given a lot of advice to Italy – wrote the secretary of the PDL on Twitter -. Some we will accept, some we won't. We will not accept the IMF's advice on the IMU”.
