Landi Renzo acquires 70% of Emmegas to expand in Asia and America

Emmegas srl produces LPG and methane components and fuel systems and serves markets such as America and Asia – Landi Renzo acquires 70% of its capital, a put and call option is envisaged for the remaining 30%, which however it cannot be exercised before three years from the acquisition.

Landi Renzo acquires 70% of Emmegas to expand in Asia and America

Landi renzo, world leader in the sector of components and fuel systems for LPG and methane for vehicles, acquires 70% of Emmegas. Emmegas is a limited liability company that has been producing LPG and methane components and fuel systems for twenty years and serves important markets such as America and Asia.

In 2012 Emmegas achieved a turnover of approximately 3,2 million euros and a negative gross operating result of 164 thousand euros. As at 31 December 2012, it had balance sheet assets of 3,2 million and a negative net financial position of around 1,7 million euro.

The disbursement of Landi Renzo for the acquisition of the shares of Emmegas was 475 thousand euros; a put and call option is envisaged for the remaining 30% of the srl capital, which however cannot be exercised before three years from the acquisition. "With this partnership we plan to differentiate the offer in some strategic markets - said the managing director Claudio Carnevale - and to strengthen the group's worldwide presence, seizing growth opportunities in market segments in which, to date, the group is only partially present. At 17.17 the Landi Renzo share was quoted at 1,497 euro, with an increase of 0,94.
