The digital revolution has just begun: be careful not to fall behind

It is now a fact: the digital age has begun and the Covid emergency has given further acceleration to this process, to the point that it often becomes difficult to be able to keep up with all the innovations but above all in a world of work running faster and faster

The digital revolution has just begun: be careful not to fall behind

Humankind has always evolved with new discoveries and inventions of all kinds with the aim of improving one's quality of life. This concept has always been valid, but never as in the last twenty years have changes in our society occurred so rapidly, to the point that it often becomes difficult to keep up with all the innovations that arise in our everyday life

A world in constant connection

If we simply try to look around us on the street, in an office, at the station or in a restaurant, what we see is a reality that no longer surprises us: a series of people in front of an illuminated screen, with their heads bowed on a smartphone display or a tablet, intent on sending an email, replying to a message, reading news, exchanging information, but also playing games or taking pictures. By now there is no longer any part of our life, both private and working, that doesn't somehow pass through the monitor or the memory of an electronic device. There great technological revolution it certainly started and consolidated with two fundamental steps: the birth of the internet and the widespread diffusion of computers, smartphones and mobile technology.

The new reality has erased our old life

For those born in the last century (indeed, in the last millennium) this revolution took place in a lightning-fast way, distorting our way of life and entering our lives so quickly that we almost struggle to remember the world as it was before, the one in which when you left the house you were no longer reachable, once an appointment had been made it was no longer possible to contact each other except by respecting the agreements made, the one in which one wrote with pen and paper, and the mail was by no means electronic. Yet this was everyone's world just over twenty years ago. For the new generations, however, a world without this constant presence of technology is not even imaginable, if not through the stories of those who have gone through this revolution.

The revolution has just begun

The new reality is now so ingrained in all areas of our society that we are inevitably inclined to take it for granted. But there is a very important factor to take into consideration: what we are experiencing is only at the beginning, as it is a phenomenology that has just spread and is still destined to grow exponentially. Discover the revolution digital and delve into all aspects, if you don't want to risk being left behind and not being able to keep up with the times, in your private life but above all in a world of work that runs ever faster.
