The Fed pushes the stock markets, Iraq inflames the oil

After the reassurances received from the Federal Reserve, today the stock exchanges are traveling in positive territory – Tension on debt securities cools down – The greatest increases concern commodity stocks – Oil accelerates upwards due to news from the Iraqi front: Eni +1,5%, Saipem +1% – Banks are doing well, except Mps and Bper.

Janet Yellen's words also comforted the European stock exchanges, led by Piazza Affari. The Ftse Mib index increases by 1,07%, to 22266 points. The Paris, London and Frankfurt indices rose by 0,8%. Madrid +1.04%. The tension on debt securities cools: the 10-year btp falls to a yield of 2,770%, spread to 145 bp.

The biggest increases concern stocks raw material: in London, where Chinese premier Li Kequiang yesterday confirmed his willingness to support GDP growth at 7,5% again this year, the two giants of mining activities, Rio Tinto and Bhp Billiton, rose by around 2%.

Oil accelerates upwards due to news from the Iraqi front: Wti at 106,3 dollars a barrel (+0,3%), Brent at 114,4 dollars (+0,1%). Oil stocks run in Milan: Eni + 1,5% Saipem +1%, detached Tenaris +0,2% held back by the default risk of Argentina. In the afternoon, the US will release the weekly data on applications for new unemployment benefits and the Conference Board's Leading Indicator (Superindex).

Finmeccanica (+2,3%) recovered the losses of the previous day: the intention to incorporate the subsidiary Ansaldo Breda has been denied. Salt too Enel (+0,5%): the managing director Francesco Starace announced that within 15 days the list of assets to be divested to reduce debt will be ready. Still on the rise Mediaset (+1,2%), awaiting the response to Telefonica's proposal. Telecom Italia gains 0,8%

Among the banks, good upside Understanding (+1,2%) ed Unicredit (+1,7%). Brake again Mount Paschi (-3,7%): tomorrow the negotiation of the rights to the increase ends. Calmer Carige with an increase of about 1%. Rights rise by 1,3%. They are positive Mediobanca (+ 1,2%) and Ubi (+ 1,6%). Pop Emilia Bank loses 1,6%: today the Board of Directors will announce the terms of the 750 million euro capital increase.  

In asset management it runs Mediolanum (+2,7%), rebounds Azimuth (+ 1,3%).
