The end of an era. According to the first reconstructions, the resignation of the Juventus board of directors would be linked to new developments in the investigation and the decision, again using conditional sentences, would have already been known in judicial circles. "To this end, on the proposal of President Andrea Agnelli and in order to allow the decision on the renewal of the Board to be referred to theShareholders' meeting, all members of the Board of Directors present at the meeting declared that they give up the job – reads the official press release issued by the club yesterday evening -. For the same reasons, each of the three directors holding proxies (the Chairman Andrea Agnelli, the Deputy Chairman Pavel Nedved and the Chief Executive Officer Maurizio Arrivabene) deemed it appropriate remit the powers to the Council conferred on them. Juve: an era of triumphs ends
Thus ends the era of Andrea Agnelli afterwards 12 years of triumphs (19 titles, including 9 Scudetti, 5 Italian Cups and 5 Italian Super Cups) and many, many controversies, especially in recent seasons complicated by the affair Superalloy and, above all, from the Prisma investigation.
